Department is situated in the main block of hospital in which casualty services are being provided by medical teachers, resident doctors and paramedical staff. Teachers are providing their services on the basis of 24x7. Their duties are on rotational basis and all departments related to casualty/ trauma are providing their services i.e. Surgery, Medicine, Ortho, Neurosurgery, Anaesthesia etc. If other departments are needed they are available on call 24x7. RESUSCITATION SERVICES- ¾ There is well equipped ICU attached with casualty ward. ¾ • • • • • There is well established accommodation for resuscitation services includingOxygen supply -3 cylinders Ventilator -1 in function Defibrillator -1 in function Fully equipped disaster trolleys -2 Emergency X- Ray machine -X- Ray room near to casualty ¾ Investigation facilities (24x7) are being provided. ¾ Operation theatre for casualty is under repair at present due to some damage meanwhile emergency operations are being done in emergency OT A- block. ¾ About 12 trolleys are available at trolley stand in casualty for transportation of patients. CASUALTY WARD AND ACCOMODATION- ¾ Casualty building is a separate building combining of 2 wards, accommodation for staff on duty; ward is having 21 beds. ¾ The ward is fully illuminated with good light and air conditioned. ¾ Accommodation for staff is separate for doctors and nurses. Both are having separate sanitary facilities both room are air conditioned. ¾ Sanitary arrangements for patients are good. ¾ Water cooler with filter is situated in the waiting hall for patients. ¾ A well accommodation capacity waiting hall is present outside the casualty. ¾ A well maintained lawn/park present near the casualty. ¾ Spacious parking place in front of casualty.
