Q – How do you feel, now you are the European champion FW?
Super happy – I did not expect it. The standard is very high, and my other commitments
make it difficult for me to enter many formula events. I also borrowed my equipment – so
really I am very happy with my title.
Q – Will this title change a lot in your future carreer as windsurfer?
Not really. My main focus is on RS:X and I have one more qualification event before I can be
confirmed as Polish representative in Weymouth. I am confident about qualifying, which
means my next years plans must be on RSX.
Q - What do you think about this FW Europeans and do you like the venue?
This championship was a good one, I enjoyed it very much. The organization was good, we
had no problems with the racing, the race committee was well organized. The venue was a
good choice , I hope we can come back with the Worlds.
Q- What do you think about the change to 2 sails and 2 fins and how do other sailors react
on it?
I do not think moving from 3 to 2 sails changes a lot. Top guys will still have 3 sails and select
two depending upon the forecast. The change is OK for me ; but maybe not so good for silver
fleet racers.
Q – Do you have any suggestions to improve the number of sailors at an event especially for
the women devision?
Maybe a higher level of prize money will attract more of the pro’s from PWA. Location is
very important if we want to attract a big fleet – accessibility and cost are very relevant.
