What is World Rabies Day?
 Worldwide annual event every September 28th (Death anniversary
of Louis Pasteur)
 To celebrate rabies prevention efforts and unite against rabies
 First global advocacy, education and awareness campaign for rabies
 WRD is a GARC (Global Alliance for Rabies Control) initiative
