Temasek Polytechnic Advanced Standing at The Australian National University College of

Business and Economics

ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE) welcomes international students into its programs in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Business,

Statistics and Actuarial Studies.

For selected programs, CBE will recognise prior study from other institutions and offer credit towards the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration at The ANU.

The following tables are a guide to the maximum credit that incoming and commencing international students are able to claim into the above mentioned ANU programs. This represents the maximum credit available and any credit granted is at the discretion of The ANU

College of Business and Economics.

Students wishing to apply for the Bachelor of Actuarial studies would require a higher GPA for entry, and would not be eligible for credit as per the accreditation requirements of this program.

Incoming students should note the following points:

It is the responsibility of the student to check when specific subjects are offer at

The ANU and to change their program plans accordingly.

This information is valid as of May 2013 for a period of three years and it used as a guide only. It is subject to change.

Students only receive credit for courses they have actually studied and passed, according to the credit rules listed under each table.

Depending on the commencement of study, course selection and a major in Year 2 and

3 may vary.

It is strongly recommended that incoming and commencing students attend the

Orientation week enrolment sessions, immediately before the start of their first semester at the ANU, to receive updated information on their programs and anticipated study plans.

Each application is assessed on an individual basis and the College will make the final decision as to the student’s application.

Students at the ANU generally take 4 subjects per semester, 8 subjects per year. Most subjects are 6 units.

A maximum of 8 course or 48 units’ credits will be granted.

Students can check when subjects are offered and program rules at: http://programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/
