Accounting Minor Application Instructions
Application Checklist
Thank you for your interest in the program.
Applications will be accepted each quarter, excluding summer sessions, at D413. Please plan accordingly
since the deadline is Friday of Week 1. No exceptions will be made for late submissions.
Please read all of the instructions carefully before completing the application. After completing the
application, sign where indicated and please attach this form completed.
**You are required to meet ALL of the following requirements in order to be eligible to apply for the
Accounting Minor Program. Please mark all of the appropriate boxes below.

1. You are in good academic standing
(Not on probation or subject to dismissal)
2. You are a UCLA full time Undergraduate Student
(You have not received an Bachelors degree in any field)
3. You have a cumulative UCLA GPA of 3.2

You have a prerequisite GPA of a 3.2
(Please note we will not round your GPA up. You need at least a 3.20)
5. You must have competed a minimum of 90 quarter units
(Including AP credits)
Transfer Students – in addition to the 90 units
You must have completed two regular quarters at UCLA before
applying to the minor.
6. A). Non-Transfer Students: (If you took Mgmt 1A and 1B at UCLA)
You must receive a B or better in Mgmt 1A and Mgmt 1B at UCLA.
* If you did not receive a B or better in either 1A or 1B you have to
receive a minimum grade of a B in Mgmt 120A.
B). Transfer Student: (If you did not take 1A and 1B at UCLA)

You must complete both Mgmt 120A and Mgmt 122 with an
averaged GPA of a 3.0 earning at least a C or better in both courses.
You have completed all of the prerequisite courses with a grade of C or
better.
If needed: You have only repeated 1 of the prerequisite courses.
If needed: You have only repeated 1 of the core required courses.
You have taken all of the management courses for a letter grade
earning a C or better in each course.
If you have anything above that is not satisfied, unfortunately, you are not eligible for the accounting
minor program or to apply to the program at this point in time.

After completing the application, sign where indicated and attach this form with you application. The
following items should be included in this order:
1. The Application Checklist
2. The Signed Instruction Form (This Document)
3. Completed Application
4. The Prerequisite GPA Calculation Form
- This form must be completed if any of your prerequisites were taken at a different
school.
- This form is NOT required if all of your prerequisite courses were taken at UCLA.
5. A copy of your latest Degree Progress Report (DPR) with all of your grades posted from the
previous quarter.
- Modeled for the Accounting Minor which is available from your general counselor.
- Please highlight ALL of your management and prerequisite courses on the first page of
your DPR.
Please Note: the DPR must come from the college, if you print it out yourself it will NOT be
accepted and consequently you will be denied a formal review regarding admissions into the
minor for that quarter. You may reapply but only the following quarter.
- Your general counselor can be found in:
CAC in A316 Murphy, College Honors, AAP or Athletics
6. A copy of the Official Transcript of prerequisite coursework taken at other institutions that you
have already sent to UCLA.
- Please highlight the relevant courses and grades that were earned for each course.
Please Note: Transcript requests may sometimes take up to two weeks to get processed so please
plan accordingly. Late or self printed transcripts will NOT be accepted and consequently you will
be denied a formal review regarding admissions into the minor for that quarter. You may reapply
but only the following quarter.
