ADRIAN G. LEIVA BIOGRAPHY Adrian G. Leiva has been involved in the field of education since 1986 and in the area of higher educational administration since 1992 when Muffles Junior College was established in Orange Walk Town, Belize. He is currently the Dean of Muffles Junior College, a Catholic junior college sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. Mr. Leiva is a member of the Association of Tertiary Level Institutions in Belize (ATLIB), the Caribbean Area Network for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (CANQATE), the Belize National Council for Education (NCE), and the Board of Trustees of the University of Belize. He has served as chair in ATLIB and as an executive officer in the CANQATE Board of Management. He is currently vice-president in the CANQATE Board of Management and vice-chairperson in NCE. As a Fulbright-CAMPUS scholar, he obtained a B.Sc. Degree in English and a B.A. Degree in Economics from Minnesota State University, Mankato, USA in 1990; and as a Fulbright-LASPAU scholar, he obtained an M.Ed. Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, Georgia, USA in 1996.
