Job Title Main Purpose of Job Employer Engagement Support Manager (6 months contract) Context Department 2015 Pensions Reform Programme Co-ordinate technical and general questions from participating employers regarding the 2015 pension scheme changes, working with the employer engagement lead Manage and co-ordinate participating employer deliverables to ensure employers are meeting their responsibilities Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure agreed standards are met Support the Employer Engagement Lead with ad hoc business requests Supervise the work of a small team of support staff. Context This role is within a project environment and involves the management of discrete work packages as well as the provision of pension subject matter expertise and supervisory responsibilities. Dimensions Colleagues within 2015 pensions reform programme, from MyCSP Cabinet Office (our client) and EPS(our key supplier) Liaison with participating employers Liaison with shared service/payroll providers Working collaboratively with suppliers (i.e. EPS). Duties and Key Responsibilities Key Outputs (self and support team under supervision) To effectively manage and report on participating employer actions/deliverables To compile and respond to participating employer technical and general questions regarding the new scheme To co-ordinate weekly reporting to key client and workstream lead Management of risks, actions, issues, dependencies logs, obtaining updates from workstream lead Ongoing reporting in accordance with the programme governance To quickly understand the subject at hand and prioritise work required To monitor and co-ordinate updates to employer 2015 website pages The duties and responsibilities outlined above are to be regarded as broad areas of responsibility and do not necessarily detail all tasks which the post holder may be required to perform. Desirable Knowledge & Skills Requirements Technical knowledge of the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) PRINCE2 or other recognised Project Management qualification. Experience Requirements Essential 5 years’ direct project delivery experience – proven ability to initiate and run a small project Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Supervisory responsibilities.
