Dear Samantha

Last year I started work as an admin assistant at an
international law firm. I like it because I speak English
and French and I do lots of interesting things on the
computer – I’m very good at that! But now my life isn’t
healthy! I work from 9 to 6 and I don’t exercise. I’m
now 62 kilos and I was 55 before I started this job. I’m 1
metre 57 and I’m a teenager ... but only for four weeks!

A lot of people in offices have the same
problem. My advice is to cycle to the office
and cycle home. Or walk at lunchtime to the
park or the shops. That’s good too.
A lot of people in offices eat all the time. They
eat a lot of crisps and chocolate. This is a bad
idea! Only have breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Then it’s easy to control the kilos.
Also, get a new hobby for one evening a week.
A dance class is good fun. You learn new
things and exercise.
But don’t worry about the kilos now, because
you’re very young! It’s not a big problem!
