They locaOons are the same as personal pronouns. The palm moves in the direcOon of the “owner”. MY, mine OUR, ours YOUR, yours YOUR-­‐PL, yours HIS/HER/ITS, hers THEIR, theirs 2 7/2/12 Language: Sentences with IdenOfying Nouns Simple sentences with nouns which idenOfy the subject (predicate nominaOves) are commonly structured like the simple sentences with predicate adjecOves. Language: Using 2 Third Party Pronouns When pronouns are used in a sentence to refer to two different persons, point to a different locaOon for each person. If the persons are not present, the signer can refer to one person on one side of the signer and the other person on the opposite side.
