Nanny
February 01, 2009 – February 01, 2011
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Nanny, I took care of an infant who is a girl, I have to pay attention when she needs to be bottle feed,
I know when she’s feeling discomfort or wanting something or overstimulated, since she was still a baby,
crying is her own way of communicating if she wants to be cuddled or she needs to be fed. I made sure
that the baby was fed with the right amount of milk so she can get all the nutrition that she need. After
every bottle feeding, I have to let her burp to avoid gastric irritation. I also give her a bath and change
her diaper to avoid diaper rash. I have to take her out early in the morning to get some sunshine. I made
sure that she’s taking her vitamins every morning. I made sure that she’s wearing the right clothes
according to the weather. I had shown her all the love and care that she need in her parent’s absence
because they have to go to work for a living.
