BURLINGTON COUNTY COLLEGE – DREXEL UNIVERSITY
GUARANTEED TRANSFER PROGRAM
Effective in the Spring of 2005, Burlington County College students who fulfill all the necessary criteria in
certain designated programs will be guaranteed the opportunity to earn direct admission into Drexel
University. BCC students will be assured admission to Drexel University at junior status.
ADMISSIONS CRITERIA
EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Students must declare their intention to enroll
in the BCC-Drexel Guaranteed Transfer Program before completion of 30 credits.
2.
Students must take all their courses at BCC and
complete the appropriate AA or AS degree at
Burlington County College.
3.
Students must follow the designated course of
study for the intended major at Drexel
University.
BCC students who enroll in the Guaranteed
Transfer Program are expected to meet with the BCC
Director of Transfer each semester to make certain
that they are following the designated course of
study that satisfies both graduation and transfer
requirements. In addition, the BCC Director of Transfer will provide guidance about the timelines and
other requirements associated with the transfer
process.
4.
Students must earn a cumulative grade point
average of 2.5 GPA, or higher, at Burlington
County College both at the time of application
and completion of the Associates degree prior to
enrolling at Drexel.
5.
Students must submit their application for
admission and all other credentials required to
Drexel University by the deadline dates for
submission.

Full-time students enrolled in the Burlington
County College – Drexel University Guaranteed
Transfer Program must complete their AA or
AS degree within three years of enrolling in the
program.
Part-time students must complete their AA or
AS degree within 5 years of enrolling in the
program.
Students enrolled in the Guaranteed Transfer
Program will not have to pay the Admission
application fee to Drexel University.
BCC students who enroll in the Guaranteed
Transfer Program are not permitted to change their
major course of study. Students must be very certain
about their intended major in order to retain eligibility for the Guaranteed Transfer Program. Students
who change their course of study will no longer be
eligible for the Guaranteed Transfer Program,
however, they may still apply to Drexel University
through the regular transfer admissions process.
BCC students who wish to enroll in the Guaranteed
Transfer Program are required to complete the
INTENT TO TRANSFER/GUARANTEED TRANSFER
APPLICATION prior to their completion of 30 credits
at Burlington County College.
