Biography Daniel Casasanto
Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics
Daniel Casasanto received his PhD from the department of Brain & Cognitive
Sciences at MIT in 2005, and recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship
at Stanford University on a National Research Service Award. He is
currently a senior scientific staff member at the Max Planck Institute for
Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen. His research integrates methods from
cognitive and developmental psychology, linguistics, and cognitive
neuroscience to explore connections between talking, thinking, perceiving,
and acting. Casasanto is also a founding editor of the interdisciplinary
journal Language & Cognition, to be launched by Mouton de Gruyter in 2009.
