A Dragon Boat is a large canoe-like vessel
with an ornately carved dragon's head and
tail. Teams of people sit in pairs and paddle
to compete in timed races.

This course provides participants with the essential skills and
knowledge required to manage life-threatening emergencies
until professional medical help arrives. This course educates
participants in how to deal with medical emergencies arising
from shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries,
cardiac and respiratory emergencies, exposure, and poisoning.
This update course provides participants with a current Provide
First Aid Certification with the essential skills and knowledge
required to maintain this accreditation and manage life-threatening
emergencies until professional medical help arrives. This course
educates participants in how to deal with medical emergencies
arising from shock, bleeding, burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries,
cardiac and respiratory emergencies, exposure, and poisoning.
The qualification is current for 3 years. Please note that in
order to maintain currency; you should update your CPR
annually. Please refer to the MIT CPR Update course.
The course is provided in partnership between MSAC Institute
of Training – RTO #21761 and Life Saving Victoria – RTO #21799.
It is delivered and assessed by MSAC Institute of Training under
license agreement with Lifesaving Victoria who enrol and certify
the students.
