Territory Manager / Outside Sales Representative Job Summary Location San Francisco / Bay Area Industry Construction – Light Equipment, STAFDA Job Type Full Time Employee Years of Experience 2+ - 5 years Education Level High School or Equivalent Compensation Base Salary + Commission Company Vehicle About the Job Meridian Pacific Sales is looking for an experienced light construction equipment salesperson in the San Francisco Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years experience in the wholesale market with a concentration in light construction (STAFDA) equipment. They will have a good understanding of the industry and customer base. Key responsibilities will include the ability to promote products to and maintain an existing customer base, identify and solicit potential customers, present products, prepare quotes, work with customers on financing and payment options, closing sales and maintaining contact with sales management. Qualified Candidates will have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven track record of success with outside sales Strong networking skills and the drive to consistently prospect for new leads and to make cold-calls to build an account base The patience, composure, and persistence to take a deal from introduction to closure An assertive and positive attitude A strong independent streak with the ability to set and follow a schedule A clean driving record and the physical ability to load construction and utility equipment on a trailer and tow to an onsite product demonstration. The ideal candidate will also be: A hard-working self-starter Experienced at giving product presentations that allow for confident, competent & thorough customer interaction Able to set and achieve challenging sales goals and successfully manage accounts within a designated area This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary, sales commissions, and use of a company vehicle.
