GENERAL INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATIONS, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS:
A deposit of $400.00 per person is required at the time of booking. The balance of payment is due sixty days (60) prior to
departure except for bookings made within sixty (60) days of departure when full payment is required. All cancellations
are subject to a $200 per person administrative fee. In the event of a cancellation within 60-30 days of departure,
cancellation charges will be $500 per person. Refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days will be made minus any
additional cancellation fees levied by airlines and tour operators (including A.C.T.) in accordance with their regulations,
penalties, and out of pocket expenses (telephone calls, cables, etc.).
HOTEL & CRUISE: Per person prices are based on two persons sharing a room with two beds plus private facilities at
indicated four and five star hotels or similar. Lower Deck cabins on the MS Century Diamond or similar on the 5-day/4night cruise on Yangtze River. Single Supplement: $695.
AIR TICKETS: Are included in the price and feature regularly scheduled flights on Air China, China Eastern,
or other major airline. These are special group tickets and are totally NON REFUNDABLE once issued.
INCLUDED: From LAX, roundtrip economy airfare to and from China on major airline. Outside balcony cabin on
cruise, main (lower) deck. All transfers to/from hotels and ship (only if air is purchased through A.C.T.) all hotel & port
taxes, hotel porterage (one bag per person), and related service charges. Hotels listed or equivalent; sightseeing tours and
shore excursions as listed; daily breakfast and full board on ms President #8 Yangtze. National Guide throughout, plus local
guides. Airline related taxes, fuel charges, and security tariffs as of July 2015.
NOT INCLUDED: China visa fees (A.C.T will facilitate), shuttle to and from U.S. airports; telephone calls, liquor or
meals other than indicated. Items of a personal nature, optional tours, travel insurance, tips to airport porters and local
guides and escorts. Added fuel surcharges or increased departure fees if assessed by airlines.
DOCUMENTS: Airline tickets and final travel documents will be forwarded to you approximately 15 days before your
departure. A.C.T. stages a documentation meeting, as well, before the trip. A.C.T. Inc. cannot and will not be responsible
for any delay, damage and/or loss, including missed portions of the programs, which are a result of passengers losing/not
having proper documents. A.C.T. reserves the right to correct errors or, if necessary, make adjustments on its invoices.
RESPONSIBILITY: Adult School Travel and Adult Customized Tours (A.C.T.) Inc., 1301 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Suite
206, Palm Springs, Ca. 92262, and their agents shall act merely as intermediaries between national and international travel
operators and passengers in making arrangements for any services including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, transportation,
restaurants; and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident, or delay to person or
property due to an act of negligence or of default of any hotel, cruise and airline company, carrier, restaurant, company or
person rendering any of the services included in the tour, or by any act of terrorism or by animal or by God. Further, no
responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown,
quarantine, government restraints, weather or any causes beyond its personal control. No responsibility is accepted for any
additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routings or acts of any government or authority. Airlines, ship, train or bus lines
concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their
planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines and cruise companies concerned when issued shall
constitute the sole contract between transportation providers and the purchases of this trip and/or passenger. Any
controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract or the breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration in
accordance with the Uniform Rules for Better Business Bureau Arbitration, and the judgment upon the award rendered by
the arbitrators(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The payment for a reservation on the trip shall
constitute consent to all provisions in the General Information and Conditions as published herein. Costs herein are
based on prices in effect at the time of printing and, while unlikely, are subject to change without
notice.
