Thinking about becoming Catholic?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is for those
interested in exploring the Catholic faith and learning
more about the Catholic Church as part of a
discernment process of becoming Catholic. For more
information on this program contact Deacon Paul at
ppesqueira@catholictrojan.org. Sessions begin on
Tuesday, September 8th at 6:30pm.
Understanding Catholicism
Sexual Morality. Are the expectations of the Church in
this area realistic? What’s the problem with living
together before marriage? Is pornography really a
problem? What does it mean to live a ‘pure’ life
sexually? Come join us in discussion on 9/14 at 7pm
at the USC Caruso Catholic Center. Understanding
Catholicism is a series of discussions led by Fr. James
Heft, S.M., president of the Institute for Advanced
Catholic Studies at USC. We get together and talk
about some of the controversial issues facing the
Church and the world today that can help us better
understand and live out our faith. Light refreshments
will be provided. If you have more questions, contact
Tona at antonacyost@gmail.com.
Homeless Ministry
Become a part of the ministry that has been serving
those in need for almost 25 years at Skid Row! Help us
bring sandwiches and a little love to those that we
serve this coming Tuesday at 6pm. For more

Weekly Quote:
“If we let Christ into our lives, we lose nothing,
nothing, absolutely nothing of what makes life free,
beautiful, and great. No! Only in this friendship are
the doors of life opened wide. Only in this friendship
is the great potential of human existence truly
revealed.”
