the school year.
This was about a
chapter book a week
per student. To
prepare for the
upcoming year and
beat this amazing
record….. You are
required to:

of which must
be from the list.
Keep a log of
your summer
reading.
Write one
summary on a
book of your
choice. See
cube directions.
Do not bring
summer work
on the first day
of school.

who exceed the book
requirement.

pages.
SILVER:
Five books
(four from the
list) for a total
of 1,000+
pages.
GOLD:
Six books
(four from the
list) for a total
of 1,500+
pages.
All reading must
be documented
and signed by a
parent.
Please note…this is
required reading.
The summary will
count as the first
test grade. The
Reading Log will
count as the first
homework grade.
