The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri serves over 4,000 undergraduate students, offering business administration degrees in marketing, finance, accounting, and management. Located in Cornell Hall, it serves as an outlet for academic achievement, student involvement, and for many, a home away from home. What is it really like being a business student at Mizzou? All the brochures, pamphlets, and tours only give you a small glimpse of reality. The Trulaske College of Business Student Council is hosting the third annual Trulaske Leaders Academy to allow prospective business leaders a chance to see all that Mizzou has to offer. This event for high school seniors allows you to interact with current business students and faculty, meet students from all over Missouri, and develop new leadership and professional skills in a fun, exciting atmosphere. This event will be held on November 9, 2012 on Mizzou’s campus. Check-­‐in will begin at 10:00 am and the program will conclude at 3:30. The cost for the event is $20, which includes lunch, all activities, and a t-­‐shirt. We encourage all high school seniors interested in business and leadership to apply. All participants must observe the following guidelines for conduct: 1. Participate fully in all sessions and observe the established agenda. 2. Show respect for property/facilities used during the event and assume financial responsibility for any damages they cause. 3. Appropriate and courteous behavior is expected. Swearing and obscene gestures are not permitted. All should be treated with respect and common courtesy. Participants are expected to dress appropriately. Images (including photographs and video) are used in various print and electronic media to recognize member for their work and to let others know what is happening in the Trulaske College of Business. Because there are so many students involved in the weekend events, we cannot assure you that your child’s image will not be taken. We will ask the business staff to honor individual requests.
