A NIGHT OF HORROR
So the season of ALL HALLOWS EVE or HALLOWEEN as we have come to know
it is almost upon us. It has crept through the seasons of spring and summer and
is now just around that dark corner.
The seasonal holiday of HALLOWEEN has it’s long eerie history dating back
more than two thousand years, And every year we celebrate Halloween on the
31st October. Halloween is believed to be the one time of year when the veils
between the world of the living and the world of the dead are at their thinnest.
As the years progressed this autumn festival began to feature bonfires, people
dressed as devils and angels. Through out the ages this has merged with games
such as trick or treating and bobbing apples. The festival was also named ALL
HALLOWS EVE which we continue to celebrate every year on the 31 st of October
– this is now known to all as HALLOWEEN.
And so it is that we have managed to entice you in to our dark little world. Out
of the cold wind and rain of the night. Inside long enough to hear just a few tales
from our dark dank catacomb. Tales of things that walk our streets and homes
unseen. The things that we see from the corner of our eyes. Tales of the Macabre.
The noises we hear during the night. ‘What was that groan, that creak? The
house settling or someone standing at the foot of your bed ` You decide.
So settle down, take a deep breath and enjoy the show.

THE END
The production will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes with a 15 minute
interval for those of you who wish to compose yourself. and gear up for the
second half.. Holy water and wooden stakes were on sale behind the bar, but
we had to do away with them…this is the production of the dead.
Once again may I take this opportunity to thank each and every one of the cast
and crew who have made this production possible.
All shows were produced by the W.T.G
One final word… remember when you get home this evening and your lying in
bed, listen to the silence. Listen for the low groans of the floor boards being
stepped upon. The banging of door, is it just being caused by a draught from an
open window or is it something else. When you take a bath or shower, is there
a presence in the room. Do you feel as if you are being watched by something
that you can’t see or understand. Or even when you are in your car driving
home; make sure you check your rear view mirror… if you dare. Even when
you are with people can you feel the tension in the air as if someone is standing
behind you…
If so…prey they don’t mean you any harm. Sleep Tight.
