Design For Change Philippines is part of a global movement giving children an opportunity to express their own ideas for a be<er world and put them into ac=on, empowering children to BE THE CHANGE they wish to see in the world. Sharing 7 simple steps for change, we are spreading a KAYA KO infec=on!
Vision
I can be the change in the world, by listening to my heart!
Our vision is for children to experience, feel and believe in their innate ability to transform themselves and their community, for the be<er. Children being empowered to BE and lead the change in designing solu=ons for the global issues we are faced with, transforms our world by reminding adults of their inherent beauty and the power of BEING child-‐like!
Mission
We share seven inner steps for outer change, empowering children, teachers and parents to take ac=on on issues in their communi=es that bother them by enabling child-‐driven change.
Through the seven steps for change: Feel, Imagine, Do, Share, Reflect, Enjoy,
Sustain , children are given tools to dream up and lead community service projects that improve the quality of their lives.

When we listen, we can learn a lot from our children. As long as we nurture their crea=vity, provide opportuni=es for their growth and are inspired by them, together, we can be the change.
By reminding children of their inherent beau=ful and powerful beingness they go through a process of heightened awareness of themselves, their community, the world and then ins=nc=vely want to save it. They see the problems and EASILY see solu=ons. They then want to spread the word and lead the change.
