It is based on the movement of ocean waves and eastern healing principles of Tai Chi. Similar to ocean waves ebbing and flowing at the sea shore, the HM therapist sinks into soft tissue in round, scooping strokes to effectively reposition fibers. The experience is like a moving meditation for both client and therapist. The client feels an increase in joint range of motion, reduction of pain, and relaxed mind and body. The Wave Mobilization stroke feels relaxing in both acute and chronic conditions.
