Associate of Science Nursing
Please Note:
1.
ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, MATH 1101 (or more advanced Math course), BIOL 1114K and BIOL 1124K must be completed prior to
entering Upper Division Courses . However, it is recommended that all core be completed before NURS program sequence.
2.
Students will be required to complete clinical hours during the day time, night time or weekends.
3.
Program-admitted students must meet the following clinical requirements:
- Completed health history and physical forms
- Immunization form
- TB Screening
- Criminal Background Check
- Urine Drug Screen
- Mandatory Health Professional CPR certification through the American Heart Association at Middle Georgia State University.
- Students must maintain ability to meet requirements of Nursing Practice Performance Standards/Essential Abilities.
Requirements
Core Curriculum Requirements – 33 hours + FYE
To compete for admission into the Nursing program, applicants must
complete a Nursing application, entrance exam and meet all
prerequisites.
