Programme Requirements for Bachelor of Science with Honours in Applied Science
(Beauty and Health) (BSCHBHF3) (Year 3 Entry)
1.
The Bachelor of Science with Honours in Applied Science (Beauty and Health)
(Year 3 Entry) programme requires a student to complete 80 credits. A student is
required to:
1.1 complete 40 credits of core courses in Table 1; and
1.2 complete 40 credits of core courses in Table 2.

The Bachelor of Science in Applied Science (Beauty and Health) is an early exit
point of the BSCHBHF3. The Bachelor of Science in Applied Science (Beauty
and Health) programme requires a student to complete a total of 40 credits. A student
is required to complete all 40 credits of core courses in Table 1.

Honours Classification
For the purpose of honours classification of the Bachelor of Science with Honours in
Applied Science (Energy and Environment) programme, the weighted grade point
average (WGPA) will be calculated as follows:
Group (a) courses: 40 credits of Higher Level courses from Table 1 and Table 2.
Group (b) courses: 40 credits of Middle or Higher Level courses from Table 1 and Table 2,
where such credits have not been taken into account for calculation in Group (a) courses.
The weighting of courses assigned for Group (a) and (b) is 2 to 1 in the calculation of
Degree classification.
