Background
McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd (MBE) was established in 1961 as a JV
between McNally Pittsburg, USA and Bird & Co, UK. In 1972, MBE acquired its present
name. In 1980 MBE was taken over by Williamson Magor group. MBE is engaged in
executing turnkey projects in infrastructure and related manufacturing activities.
Business Profile
MBE is engaged in providing EPC turnkey solutions in the areas of power, steel,
aluminium, material handling, mineral beneficiation, pyroprocessing, pneumatic handling
of powdered materials, coal washing etc. In FY12 MBE ventured into African market for
exploring mineral resources and were executing two copper concentration plants in
Konkola mines, Zambia for Vedanta group. During FY12, MBE forayed into infrastructure
and construction projects and received orders in road, metro, residential towers and
industrial infrastructure projects. The major projects included construction of 20 kms
road in Jharkhand, three metro stations for Kolkata metro etc. In FY12 MBE also entered
in business of manufacturing of pumps for power, nuclear and oil & gas industries. As on
Mar 31, 2012 the order book of MBE stood at Rs 34.2 bn.

• Executed 800 TPH coal handling plant for Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC),
Chandrapura TPS
• Constructed 750 TPH east mill copper concentrator plant for Vedanta group,
Konkona Copper mines, Zambia
• Constructed ash handling plant for DVC-Mejia Phase B-1x500 MW

Background
MVL Ltd (MVL) was established in 1978 as Super Sound Electronics and commenced
with manufacturing of audio cassettes. Later in 1986, it was converted to public limited
company named as Media Video Ltd. MVL acquired its present name in 2007 and
diversified into real estate industry. In 2008, MVL was listed on BSE and NSE Ltd and
launched its first IT Park project MVL iPark in Gurgaon.
Business Profile
MVL provides real estate solutions in group housing, township, commercial and retail
sectors. The company has forayed into hospitality sector in 2011. Residential projects of
MVL include initiative for both middle income groups and lower middle income groups.
Township segment of MVL comprises plotted development, villas, premium housing
complex, a commercial, hotel, schools etc. MVL Coral and MVL Indi homes, an integrated
residential complex in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, MVL IBC, a business complex in Gurgaon and
MVL River city, a township covering over 124 acres are the ongoing projects of MVL as
of Dec 31, 2011.In hospitality sector MVL collaborated with an international hospitality
chain and acquired land for developing a five star hotel in Neemrana, Rajasthan.
