1.1 CPP: All students in any Business Administration major must demonstrate proficiency with specific microcomputer software packages; Proficiency is demonstrated by satisfying one of the following three alternatives: 1) CIS 101 or an alternate course at Pomona; 2) microcomputer proficiency skills tests in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at

Pomona; or 3) Computer Science 100 at SAC.

1.2 CPP: Accounting option – add English (101H or 103). Finance/Real

Estate/Law option – add English (101H or 103). Computer Information

Systems option – add Computer Science 112 and 213. Marketing

Management option – add Psychology 100 or 230.

1.3 CPP: Options available are: Accounting, Computer Information

Systems, Marketing Management, Technology and Operations

Management, Management and Human Resources, Finance/Real Estate/

Law, International Business, and E-Business.

2.2 CSUF: Economics 121 and Math courses may count for both general education and major requirements. All other major requirements for

Business may not be double counted. All courses for the major must be completed with a grade of “C” or better. The credit/no credit option may not be used for courses in the major.

2.3 CSUF: Concentrations offered are: Accounting, Business Economics,

Entertainment and Tourism Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance,

Management, Information Systems, Management Science, Marketing, or Risk Management and Insurance. A joint emphasis in Accounting/

Finance, and a joint emphasis in Accounting/Information Systems are also offered.

3.1 CSULB: Take Computer Science 100 or Business 150, or pass the

Computer Proficiency Exam offered by CSULB.

3.2 CSULB: Take Math/Social Science 219 or Math 145. 219 is strongly preferred.

3.3 CSULB: Options offered are: Accountancy; Management Information

Systems; Finance; Human Resources Management; International

Business; Management; Marketing; and Operations Management. This major is considered impacted. See the CSULB catalog and the web site www.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/impacted_major.html for additional information.

4.1 UCI: Junior-level applications with the highest overall GPA (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0) and who satisfactorily complete the above requirements will be given preference for admission. Admission to the major will be competitive due to limited space availability.
