Mini-M
SingTel Maritime VSAT is a high speed, two-way IP broadband
ship to shore satellite telecommunications service. It has the
capability to provide Email, Internet, Fax, VoIP and SIP phone
service.
Mini M is a portable satellite equipment that can be used for
voice, fax and data with rates of 2.4kbps for land as well as
on shipping vessels from virtually anywhere in the world.
Utilizing spot beam satellite technology, mini-M terminals are
the smallest, lightest, and most power-efficient of all of the
Inmarsat voice terminals. Mini M are also used on shipping
vessels of all sizes and are ideal for crew calling.

established in 1981 to enable communications between
government bodies with their counterparts via other
telecommunication companies. It has since evolved to become
a reputed Accounting Authority for the shipping community.
Started in April 2000, SingTel Satellite (PSA1431) is a Point of
Service Activator by Inmarsat Limited and is authorised to
activate Inmarsat terminals.
