JOB TITLE: DIRECTO

Reporting to : Senior Marketing Manager

DEPARTMENT: CRDM Western Europe

Overall objective/accountability

Maintain and develop DIRECTO service, focussing on highly technical enquiries and issues, while enhancing Medtronic’s reputation in the market.

To build a presence in on-line marketing using legally approved social networking opportunities

Main tasks/responsibilities

Execution of DIrecto Services

Answers technical questions from the field via phone, email or other communication media

Builds strong relationship with Call Centre Partner

Monitors proficiency of call centre partner, collating metrics, call data and checking against forecasts and costings, ensure budget is met

Develop ways of marketing the Directo service, internally and externally

CareLink Management

Advises customers and field staff on the interpretation of CareLink reports, clinical data and technical information

Helps end users with transmission issues

Implements the content from Marketing utilising Content Manager

Internal and administrative

Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion.

Reports immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks etc).

Provides minimum, but regular activity report to line manager, such as call metrics and quality data.

Attends all required regional and national meetings.

Monitors online content with tools such as TweetDeck

Take time each week for self learning and expertise development

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

Degree in Engineering or similar advanced degree

Fluency in English

Thorough knowledge of all CRDM product lines and therapies (Brady/AF, Tachy, HF)

Knowledge of the competitive marketplace

Experience in Social media

Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales force, physicians, nurses and hospital technicians.

Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Track record of good judgment. Demonstrated integrity and respect of peers/subordinates.
