Click the yellow Log In button on the right side. 3. Use the drop down list to select FLDOE SSO Hosted Users and click Continue to Sign In. After the selection is made, it is stored on the computer; you are not asked for this information again on subsequent visits unless the computer’s cookies are deleted or expired. 4. Type (not copy/paste) your username (provided via email from sender svc-fimservice@fldoe.org) and password (provided via email from sender svc-fim-service@fldoe.org) and click Sign In. 5. At this point, the secure FLDOE SSO page is displayed with your name and permissible resources. 6. Look for Manage Account in the green tool above your name and select Security Questions. 7. Follow all the prompts to log in and set up the security questions. 2. I forgot my password. What do I do? **SECURITY QUESTIONS MUST HAVE BEEN SETUP PRIOR FOR THIS FEATURE TO WORK** 1. Go to www.fldoe.org/sso 2. Click the yellow Log In button on the right side. 3. Click on the last link, Forgot Password? 4. Enter your username and click Next 5. Answer the security question correctly and click Next 6. Enter a new password, re-enter the password, and click Next 3. What is the required password format? Passwords must be at least eight characters in length and contain three of the following: an uppercase letter (A-Z), a lowercase letter (a-z), a number (0-9), or a non-alphanumeric character (such as !, $, #, %). While there are several FLDOE applications integrated into the FLDOE SSO, you may or may not have access to them based on the authorizations granted by your sponsoring organization. It keeps telling me my username or password is incorrect. What can I do? Some common troubleshooting questions are: • • • • • Have you selected the correct organization? Try deleting your cookies and selecting the organization again before trying to log in. Are you using the number dash (i.e. 99-) in front of your email address for the username? Are you typing the entire 8-digit computer-generated password from the email exactly as it appears? If you copy and paste, it can add extra hidden characters that cause the login to fail; and, the password is case-sensitive. How do I delete my cookies? If you are using Internet Explorer, click on Tools in the browser toolbar and select Internet Options. In the “Browsing History” section of the General tab, click Delete…. If you are using Chrome, click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar, select Settings, and click Show advanced settings. In the “Privacy” section, click the Content Settings button.
