Complementing this is a commitment to the implementation of supporting managerial and business operational systems, which are seen as essential requirements in realising this goal. Underpinning the successful delivery of these services is an uncompromising approach in fostering close working relationships with our clients and in gaining their trust. Operating under the control of a documented, implemented and maintained Quality Management System, it is our policy to operate fully complying as appropriate with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. This to be implemented and operated through certification and annual review, which as a consequence will ensure that our objectives are continually being met and that the supporting processes and business lines of operation remain relevant and appropriate, as set out in our Quality Management Strategy. Committed to working towards continual improvement of the Quality Management System SSI Ltd will ensure that: 1. Through thorough evaluation and review of our client’s requirements that SSI’s effectiveness in meeting their needs is satisfied. 2. By regularly looking at our service provision processes the identification of potential shortcomings are identified and the necessary action to rectify them is taken immediately. 3. Through continual investment in staff training, development and the evaluation of their performance, that trust in our service offering is enhanced. 4. Through continued assessment and membership of professional bodies such as SCEG, SAMI and MSS Global, we will be able to continually improve our growth and performance and fulfil the requirements of our clients and the maritime security industry. SSI’s quality system is detailed in the controlled documents of the SSI Maritime and Human Resources Handbooks. These cover all aspects of SSI operations and have been approved by senior management. Responsibility for upholding this policy is truly Company-wide and under the guidance of the Strategic Director and the remainder of the Management team, the personal commitment of all staff to address Quality as part of their skills will remain a priority, thus ensuring our ultimate duty to our clients is safeguarded.
