2014-15 GLEN ELLYN INFANT WELFARE GIVING
GEIW volunteered time in regular shifts with the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry and People’s Resource Center and held drives at monthly meetings
Serving area children for nearly 90 years
for items such as diapers, emergency kits for children in shelters, or collections for a student in need. Our members held a successful 1st
annual Monte Carlo Night, a beautiful 31st annual Housewalk, and sold mums, poinsettias and spring plants. The Junior Volunteers group
was born and mentored through their first fundraiser, the Family Fitness Walk. Our family aid team was utilized to meet immediate,
short-term needs of families and children referred to us from local agencies or school social workers.
A Glenbard West and Glenbard South student
