Wash hands, determine recipies, assign responsibilities to assistant cooks and others, prepare meals, advise Patrol when meal will be served, ensure all utensils used for cooking are clean.
Assis with meal preparation as determined by cook, prepare hand washing station with warm water and rinse water (use same tubs used for cleanup), heat water for clean up.
Arrange or clean fire pit in accordance with Scout policy.
Find and stack wood needed for fire or start charcoal if needed.
Ensure fire buckets are full of water.
Keep fire going throughout meal.
Ensure fire is completely out when no longer needed.
Keep water jugs full and refill when needed.
Fill fire buckets.
(Fire Builder will doubel check, but primary resonsibility belongs here.) Purify water if fresh water is not available.
Wash all non ‐ personal utensils and cooking equipment.
Each Scout washes his own personal gear.
Clear table and secure Patrol Box.
Oil Dutch oven if used.
Notify
Quartermaster if any supplies are needed.
Dig/set up/ clean latrine.
Set up and secure camp gadgets.
Secure garbage bags at night and start new one when current one is full.
Responsible for AX yard set up.
Responsible for ensuring all safety rules and procedures are being followed.
Display the First Aid Kit in a prominent area and ensure it is well marked.
Responsible for Ax yard safety, and keep updated on weather conditions.
The whole patrol should share campsite set up.
After pitching individual tents, the Patrol may want to set up a dining fly and Chuck box, secure their food and
Patrol box.
Build a fire ring if Patrl fire rings will be used.
Gather wood for the weekend.
Build any camp gadgets agreed upon by the Patrol.
At the conclusion of the camp out, the site should be returned to the same condition it was in with all trash carried ot and brush returned where possible.
Fire ring should be dispersed, leaving no sign if this was a new one established by the Patrol.
Secure sump hole and latrine area.
