Program Planners

Program planners are designed to help students stay on track with course requirements for a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPhEd),
a Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin), or a Bachelor of Science – in Kinesiology (BSc-Kin)
·
Planners are available for each of the specialized streams of study within the BPhEd program.
·
The planners are organized on the website by Program Requirement year. The program requirement year is the year a student enters
the program as a Major. Students must follow the program outlined in the Brock Undergraduate Calendar that corresponds to the student’s
program requirement year, which can be found on the Brock Student Self Service System (Hyperlink
http://rattler.ccs.brocku.ca/liveasp/dbbrock/) (e.g. students who start in September 2003 as PEKN majors must follow the program as
outlined in the Brock 2003/04 Undergraduate Calendar, YOU DO NOT SWITCH CALENDARS FOR YEAR TWO UNLESS YOU SWITCH
MAJORS). Please note that students who interrupt their studies for one or more years become subject to the calendar regulations in effect
at the time of their re-registration.

If changes have been made to any year of the BPhEd, BKin or BSc-Kin program requirements from those outlined in the Brock
Undergraduate Calendar, the changes will be communicated from the Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology.

When completing a program planner it is recommended that students confirm their Program Requirement Year and the courses they have
successfully completed by checking their student record on the Brock Student Self-Serve.

It is recommended that all PEKN majors complete a program planner prior to booking an appointment for program advising and, that they
bring their completed planner with them to the appointment.
·
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that the courses selected meet their degree requirements and that they adhere to
restriction, course pre-requisites and published deadlines. All courses and programs subject to enrolment limitations. Not all PEKN courses
may be offered every academic year.
