F
irst Lady Gayle Woodard of CRM City Fellowship Church in
Houston, Texas, walks along side her husband, Pastor Leroy
J. Woodard, Jr., one church with three locations, of which
she has opened a cutting-edge hair-salon at the Woodlands
location.
First Lady Gayle Woodard is
the proud mother of two sons: Leroy
Woodard II is currently a Business
Administration major, a sophomore in
college and Demond Woodard. Gayle
is also the Director of the CRM
Women’s Ministry, where her passion
is reaching out to hurting women of
all ages, sizes and colors. She also
mentors girls. She has such a heart
for women that
she reached out
into the
community and
founded the
Koinonia Sorority,
“Women Helping
Women
Overcome.” This
organization
helps restore and
transform
women’s lives domestically,
professionally and educationally,
while uplifting their self-esteem. It
mentors girls to become powerful
young ladies through seminars and
other educational programs. It
empowers, rebuilds and makes a
difference in the lives of women and
girls.
Lady Gayle also joins her
husband, Pastor Leroy Woodard, Jr.,
one of the chosen hosts for Daystar
Television, with founders Marcus and
Joni Lamb, to spread the Word of
God, encouraging many thoughts the
television ministry. She stands
alongside of her husband. Together
they operate the citywide Club of
Clubs, a nonprofit organization that
feeds thousands of people at the
George R Brown Convention Center
in Houston, Texas, during
Thanksgiving and Christmas. Those
who come there receive hot meals
with all the trimmings, food baskets
and toys for their children and so
much more.
Lady Gayle Woodard also
founded Gayle’s Gems and Group, a
group that goes out into the Houston
community to serve the needs of
senior citizens. She wants these
seniors to know that they’re not
forgotten, so every year, during the
holidays, she and the team take
baskets to their homes. She makes a
difference in the live of the community
senior citizens.
Gayle’s Gem and Group also
takes toys to children in the hospital
during the holiday season, to lift their
spirits. She considers it to be a
blessing to serve others in women’s

her experiences as a First Lady, the
First Ladies Support Group
Collaboration Ministries was birth.
This support group is designed to
support, encourage and empower first
ladies as they continue to say “Yes to
the Call”. The list goes on and on.
