HEDWIG LESSIG (October 11) Methodist services officiated by Pastor Gary Brennan were held at McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, for Hedwig Lessig, (nee Groeber), 78, of Gloucester City passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife of 38 years to the late Harvey Lessig, Sr. Loving mother of Hedwig Woodruff, Harvey Jr. (Ann), Donald (Alice), Peter, Kenneth (Barb), Ronald (Barbara), William (Michele) Mary (Karl) and Susan (James). Predeceased by her son Robert Lessig. Also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hedwig (Heddy) lived in the unit block of North Stinson Avenue for many years before moving in with her daughter Heddy on Powell Street. During her time on Stinson Avenue she could be seen working on her garden, or sweeping the leaves from in front of her house. A congenial person she would always greet her neighbors with a smile or a friendly hello. Theresa Younker, a Stinson Avenue neighbor said, “She wasn’t stopping as much during the summer, I thought there was something wrong. She was very active, always walking. She was a big help to me. When she came over to visit she would always sit in this one chair. It was her chair. Now when I look at it I still see her sitting there. I will miss her. Revelli, who passed away on October 1, 2012. “We lost our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmom (Ding) and friend” – Thelma “Tippie” Revelli (nee Hultgren), a lifelong resident of Gloucester City and 1964 graduate of Gloucester City High School, when she lost her five-year battle to Cancer. Born on May 5, 1946 to Thelma (nee Parker) and Babe Hultgren. She is survived by two sons Michael (Donna), Dave and daughter Jennifer Howey, sisters Mary Ann Herbst (Bud) and Cass Gager, nieces Donna Blair and Dana Miller, nephew Sam Gager, eight grandchildren Eric, Ian, Zane, Eli, Michael, Lauren, Jessica and Tiffany along with many friends. Robinson, 57, of Gloucester City who passed away on October 11, 2012. Craig was born November 23, 1954, the beloved son of the late William W. Robinson Sr. and Adele E. Robinson. He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Adele Jr. (Janet) and special lifelong friend Mickey McGlade. Craig was a devoted father who cherished times spent with his daughter, lovingly called “Pumpkins.” He enjoyed cycling with his daughter and brother and volunteered his time to the MS Society. Craig was a member in good standing of the Steamfitters Local 420 in Philadelphia for 38 years. He loved the Flyers, deep sea fishing, going to concerts a good meal and unforgettable times spent in Cape May. Craig lived life to the fullest; generous, thoughtful, hardworking, loving and a friend to all. His huge smile and loud, gregarious, contagious laughter fill be forever missed. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Rita and James Kain. Joseph lived in Westville for over 55 years. He was a World War II Army veteran serving from 19441946. Joseph was a self employed contractor. He was a member of the VFW Post 2174, Westville Grove and the American Legion Post 133, Woodbury. He was a former member of the Westville Lions Club and the St. Anne’s Men’s Club. Joe loved the Phillies, was an avid golfer, excellent shuffle board player, but most of all, a wonderful father and grandfather. He was the husband of the late Betty B. (nee Burnell).
