I will facilitate your learning experience in this hybrid format. We will meet face-to-face five Mondays 2/8, 2/29, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/16 at 630p.m.to 935p.m. in Bonelli 13. Spanish 240 This course surveys literature and culture of Latin America from 1492 to the present, including basic literary concepts and analysis of the four genres, narrative, essay, poetry, and drama within literary movements in Latin America. The course will be complemented with films and videos. Lectures and discussions are entirely in Spanish. 3 units. I expect you to sign on to Blackboard Weekly to retrieve and submit assignments and to participate in discussions. If are not able to do this, this is not the course for you. You should not plan to sign in and work on the class only hours before each deadline. Blackboard Access you need a username and a password.
