Science 8-12 Certification
The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is the basis for a number of avenues of employment and research. Careers in medicine and dentistry utilize a chemistry background. One can be employed in a wide range of laboratory research including forensic studies and pathology. Engineering and manufacturing research employ chemists. The pharmaceutical industry is a major employer of chemists.
One may choose a research path in which case enrollment in graduate programs is required.
