Instructions for Quadrilateral Family Tree Mobile
Using the Quadrilateral Family Tree from class as a guideline, create a mobile
that can be hung from the ceiling.
Requirements:
 Mobile must be able to keep its overall shape when completed.
 Each polygon card on the mobile must include the name of the polygon, its
definition and any properties it might have.
Here are some suggested materials that students have used in the past– but feel
free to create your mobile from other materials.
Coat hanger (for the body of the mobile)
Construction paper/note cards/card stock (for the polygon cards)
Yarn/Pipe Cleaner/Straws (for connecting the polygon cards together)
Markers/Crayons/Glitter (for constructing and/or decorating the polygon cards)
