WHAT IS THE FLORIDA HIGH TECH CORRIDOR? The Corridor is a
thriving high tech hub anchored by the University of Central Florida,
the University of South Florida and the University of Florida, including
the surrounding 23-county region boasting unique clusters of high tech
industries. These industries range from aerospace to nanotechnology and
photonics to life sciences.
WHAT IS THE CAREER EXPO? This is the third year of the Career Expo.
It is an event that brings together career center directors (CCDs) from
top universities throughout the nation and high tech businesses in the
Corridor. CCDs will convene in Orlando for the three-day event, allowing
local companies to visit each university booth to discuss employment
opportunities, hiring needs and strategies to attract the best and
brightest graduates in the country for high tech work in Florida.
Career Expo will kick-off with an opening reception and further
networking opportunities will complement two days of conversations
with business representatives.
“I had the opportunity
to attend this event when it was
offered in the past. I am delighted
to learn that the Florida High Tech
Corridor’s Career Expo is being
revived. This event is a great
reversal, where Career Center
Directors get to be behind the table
and the employers get to circulate
and share their companies with the
universities. But more than anything
else, it is an incredible opportunity
to learn about the rich opportunities
in this region that is most known
for travel and tourism. Beyond this,
there is a burgeoning technology
and business hub, set against a
backdrop of perpetual warmth and
sunshine. This is a must-attend event!”

We were successful in helping
to develop talent pipelines for
organizations seeking STEM,
healthcare professionals and
educators. The conference
format enabled us to personally

directors and learn more about the
opportunities that exist throughout
Florida’s High Tech area.”
