STING PRODUCTIONS ­ SEPTEMBER 2013 NEWS­LETTER
September ­ the time to start "bringing in the harvest" (at least for us in the Northern Hemisphere…), this means that we ae now
ready to "harvest" the results (i.e. the "produce") of the "seeds" that we planted ­ way back in the Spring. Looking at it
"allegorically", this is also the time that we ­ in our role as Square Dance leaders ­ ("usually") begin new Student classes (i.e. "plant
seeds"), in the hope of a good harvest (i.e. large numbers of Graduated new Dancers) after the "seeds" have grown to full size and
have begun to bear fruit. Personally, I am not sure that this allegory is an accurate representation ­ but ­ in the hope that it is (at
least) generally appropriate, I wish all of those of you who are starting new classes the very best of luck and wish you the highest
possible rate of success! Who knows if we all put our shoulders to the wheel (do the best that we can to recruit new Dancers), the
fields may soon be full of healthy crops (the Clubs may soon be full of extra Dancers); see what I mean about allegories?
As it is now September, I am pleased to be able to announce that ­ of the 111 Regular Members that received the 2013 Edition of
the Ambassador Club ­ only two decided to "opt out" of Regular Membership for the 2014 Edition and that ­ as one new member
has signed up (so far) ­ we now have 110 (out of the 150­Caller limited Membership places), filled for next year, which is great ­ but
we still need 40 more members to fill up the 2014 Edition and 39 members to fill up the 2013 Edition! So that does leave us with
some work to do…
As well as selling the 2014 Membership places ­ to guarantee the production of the 2014 Edition ­ we also still need to sell all of the
39 remaining places on the 2013 Edition (the tunes for 2014 are listed on the "List of 2014 Tunes", from the Ambassador Drop­
Down above). Just to remind you, both the 2013 and 2014 Editions are still available at the rate of $160.00 (to new applicants, for
the first year: reducing to $150.00, for each year, after the first year) and at the rate of $150.00 to any "old members" (people who
have previously been members of the Sting Productions Ambassador Club), who would like to re­join.

If you wish to purchase membership, for JUST the 2013 Edition (i.e. one year only) please put an "X" in the "2013 Edition
ONLY" box on the Application Form.
If you wish to purchase membership, for the 2013 and the 2014 Editions (i.e. become a Regular Member) please put an "X"
in the "2013 and 2014 Edition onwards" box on the Application Form.
If you wish to be a Regular Member, for the 2014 Edition onwards (i.e. not including the 2013 Edition), please put an "X" in
the "2014 Edition onwards" box on the Application Form.
