A minor in Psychology is designed to give the student some depth and breadth of knowledge in the area. It
enables the student to receive formal recognition for having completed a concentration in Psychology. The
achievement should be helpful to the student in admission to graduate programs in Psychology, or in obtaining

Minor Restrictions
No more than three (3) hours of PSYC 3806 may be included in
the minor.
PSYC 3405 Practicum may not be used for the minor.
At least six (6) hours of 3000 or higher level courses are
required.
At least six (6) hours of Psychology must be completed at UNC
Charlotte.
A minimum GPA of 2.00 must be earned in the minor.
