A Pattern of Success: The Winners of the last eleven Tournament of Champions and Top Speakers of ten of the last eleven TOCs are alums
of the Michigan Debate Institutes. This year, alums of the Michigan Debate Institutes have won St. Marks, Michigan, Notre Dame,
Meadows, New Trier, Grapevine, USC Round Robin, Michigan Juniors and Seniors Round Robins, Niles Township, Chattahoochee,
KCKCC, and Long Beach. Alums of the Michigan Debate Institutes have won Top or Second Speaker this year at Greenhill, Michigan, St.
Mark's, Greenhill Round Robin, Notre Dame, Meadows, New Trier, Wake Forest, Grapevine, Iowa Caucus, USC Round Robin, Michigan
Juniors and Seniors Round Robins, Niles Township, and Fullerton. Alums of the Michigan Debate Institutes have received 85 bids to the
Tournament of Champions in 2015-2016!
