Cinderella lived with her stepmother and her two stepsisters. They
made her clean the house. One day there was a ball at the castle.
“Can I go to the ball?” asked Cinderella.
“You don’t have a dress.”
“And you don’t have any shoes,” said her sisters.
But Cinderella’s fairy godmother made her a beautiful dress and some
beautiful shoes.
“Now I can go to the ball,” she said. The prince danced with Cinderella
at the castle. After the ball, the prince found Cinderella’s shoe. He looked
for her everywhere. One day he came to Cinderella’s house.
“Is this your shoe?” he asked.
“Yes.” said the two stepsisters, but the shoe did not fit.
“Is this your shoe?” asked the prince.
“Yes.” said Cinderella, and she put on the shoe.
“Will you marry me?” asked the prince.
Cinderella said, “Yes!”
