Write an essay titled “The Tuskegee Airmen” expressing what the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen
means to you personally and how you can become an active part of that legacy.
Each applicant must submit a two (2) page essay containing a brief biographical sketch, educational
aspirations, career goals and an explanation of why financial aid is essential. (Typed, double spaced,
not to exceed two (2) pages.

If selected for grant, a digital photo is required for our Dinner Journal
If selected 2 Tickets (One student and one Parent) will be supplied for our annual awards dinner in
February
Students has one year to redeemed scholarship award, from the date of notification.
Any application received incomplete will be automatically disqualified
If selected, applicants will be asked to submit a national application for additional scholarship opportunities
NOTE: This application and required attachments will be utilized in the selection of qualified applicants with a 2.5
GPA or higher. Need based applicants that meet the National criteria will also be submitted to the National Tuskegee
Airmen Scholarship Committee for possible consideration.
