We have a new executive and lots of great meetings and events lined up for the 2008-09 year. We wanted to let you know all about them so you can mark your calendars. Leroy has been named the CFO of Nealanders in Mississauga so, unfortunately, has resigned from the executive. While Leroy was President, he grew our membership by 20 members; he established our Strategic Partners program and was instrumental in establishing a strong dinner meeting program. We can’t thank Leroy enough for his contributions to SW Ontario Chapter. Leroy is maintaining his membership in our Chapter so we hope to see him at some of our meetings this year. Mississauga Convention Centre Hamilton & Toronto Chapters have planned a conference of engaging plenary sessions, breakout sessions and panel discussions targeted to Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME). Topics include success factors for SMEs, commercialization of innovations, human capital management, exit strategies for family businesses, and various funding options. Cost is $200 to members; $400 for non-members.
