Experience Mr. Rippie has served as lead counsel in the preparation and litigation of numerous electric and natural gas rate cases. He has also served as counsel in appeals related to utility rate cases. He has been in practice for more than 30 years, focusing on wholesale and retail energy sales, including representing utilities in each of the recent general supply procurement proceedings in which Illinois electric utilities have been supplied with over $20 billion of electricity, capacity and related services. Mr. Rippie represents electric and natural gas industry clients on complex regulatory, operational, and financial issues in engagements ranging from corporate strategy to complex litigation before regulatory agencies and the courts.
