Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd.
Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) announced today the merger between Tokai
Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd., the Company’s subsidiary, and Toyota Financial Services Securities
Corporation. Please see the Attachment for details.

Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd. Announces Merger with
Toyota Financial Services Securities Corporation
Tokai Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) announces that in accordance with the merger
agreement as announced on January 27, 2010, it completed today the merger with Toyota Financial
Services Securities Corporation (“Toyota FS Securities”).
Tokai Tokyo Securities is the surviving company and the Company’s name, business activities, head
office address, representatives, capital or fiscal year remain unchanged after the merger.
The Company has now established a new “Toyota Business Unit,” which succeeds the operation of
Toyota FS Securities. This new structure will ensure that the Company continues to provide the same
services to customers who formerly were served by Toyota FS Securities.
We believe that this merger will significantly expand the Company’s business foundations in Chubu
region, reinforcing its capabilities to provide service to customers. Further, with the merger
completed, the Company will strive to increase customer satisfaction, and bolster the corporate value
of the overall Tokai Tokyo Financial Group.
