Course Equivalency Guide The transfer credit chart includes all HELP courses that have been approved for transfer credit consideration alongside the corresponding University of Waterloo courses. The Admissions Committee in the Faculty of Mathematics may change the course equivalency guide without notification. Students must attain a minimum grade of C in a course in order to receive transfer credit consideration. Grades earned in transferred courses will not be used in calculating your UW cumulative average. Each HELP University College course accepted for transfer credit will count as 0.5 units at UW. Students transferring into the Faculty of Mathematics are eligible to receive a maximum of 10.0 units of transfer credits. To be eligible for co-op, at the time of admission students will have successfully completed no more than 3.0 units of math transfer credits and between 4.0 and 6.0 units of transfer credits in total. Students must complete at least one full year at HELP University College Prior to attending the University of Waterloo.
