Enrol
Enrolment is the process where you formally register to undertake courses within your program. It involves
planning your timetable and may include attending an enrolment advice session.
Once you login to myUniSA, click on myEnrolment under Portal Links and complete the steps to enrol. You
can check your enrolment open date on the myEnrolment homepage. Hint – It’s in blue text at the top of
the page. If there is no date listed, it means your program has already opened for enrolment.
TIP: You will find an enrolment help section within myEnrolment and you can also visit the
enrolment introduction page for more tips, including our Enrolment Step by Step Guide.
Action 1: Check enrolment advice
Go to the My Enrolment Advice section to check for program specific information, check if you need to
attend an Enrolment Advice Session and begin planning your timetable.
You can plan your timetable by firstly printing out a Weekly Timetable Planner.
Check which courses you need to enrol into for Study Period 2 (First Semester) and Study Period 5 (Second
Semester) for your program. Click on the course timetable links for class dates and times you can select
from. Plan your timetable and record these courses and related class numbers on your printed Weekly
Timetable Planner.
Action 2: Complete your checklist
Before you can enrol, you must complete the myEnrolment Checklist, which is a series of questions to
confirm your personal details and fee payment choices.
Complete all checklist steps and once you have completed this, you are ready to enrol. Note, you may still
need to wait until your enrolment open date or until your Enrolment Advice Session if applicable.
Action 3: Enrol and manage your enrolment
Now you’re ready to enrol, you should note that most programs are taught in Study Period 2 (first semester)
and Study Period 5 (second semester) and you will need to enrol in both periods.
Select Study Period 2 (first semester) and enrol in all your classes. Select ‘Add course’ to start and follow
the prompts. If your enrolment is successful, you should see the following message: ‘You have successfully
enrolled in the following classes’. Then select Study Period 5 (second semester) and enrol in all your classes.
You can check a summary of your enrolments for each study period. You can drop selected courses or edit
via this section.
Hint
Some programs don’t use the two main study periods, so check your Enrolment Advice to confirm.
Hint
If you need assistance with enrolling, please contact your home Campus Central office or come on
campus during peak enrolment times (before the start of Study Period 2 and 5) and receive some
help from one of our U-Buddies.

Start
Congratulations, once you have completed your enrolment process, you are ready to start university. We
look forward to welcoming you on campus, supporting you and answering your questions as you get settled.
Action 1: Check start dates
Make a note of the dates for welcome and orientation events you can attend. Check your inbox and our new
students’ website regularly for dates and details.
Action 2: Collect your ID card
Collect your student ID card from Campus Central on your home campus (only available once you’ve
completed enrolment). You will find a Campus Central office on each UniSA campus and it’s where you can
head with your questions about student administration. Check opening times.
Action 3: Plan how to get to your campus
Plan the best way to get to uni by checking out public transport and car parking options. It’s also good to
become familiar with campus facilities and check out important locations such as Campus Central, the
library, and food and drink outlets.
Action 4: Attend O-Week
Attend as many orientation events as you can. View O-Week Schedules. These are a great way to meet
people and get settled into your new university lifestyle. Ask plenty of questions and don’t forget to have fun!
