Rules and Regulations:
 To be run under British Dressage rules (latest rule book).
 The Judges decision is final.
 Objections must be handed to the secretary in writing within 15 minutes of
the end of the class with a £10 deposit.
 Any competitor found to be competing in a class for which they are ineligible
will be asked to withdraw with no refund.
 Abusive behaviour towards any of the officials will not be tolerated & the
perpetrator will be asked to leave without a refund.
 Competitors must wear the correct dress, footwear and hard hat. Hard hats
should have a 3 point harness and chin straps must be fastened while
mounted. Hats must conform to BS4472, PAS015 or EN1384.
 All warm up must be done with consideration to other competitors.
 Horses & Ponies must be 4 years and over.
 No horse/pony may be ridden in the same class by different riders.
 No mucking out of trailers/horse boxes on site.
 No dogs admitted on site.
 No refund of entry fees will be made unless accompanied by a doctor’s or
vet’s certificate.
 The VHPRC Committee/Woodfield Stables/Landowner or anyone acting on
their behalf will not be held responsible for any loss/accident to persons,
animals or property. Riders, owners & spectators enter at their awn risk.
VHPRC Walk/Trot test and BRC Tests can be downloaded from VHPRC website.
Pairs and Prix Caprilli tests will be available on VHPRC website.
All BD tests are available from British Dressage for a small fee.

The top 6 in each class automatically qualify.
As many extra wild card entries as possible will be invited to the Championships if
spaces at the finals are available.

Eligibilty for classes (Except Xmas Special):
Class 1a: Grass Roots - Rider Under 14yrs : combination not to have been placed
1st to 6th in any dressage competition at prelim level or above, and never to have
won any Walk/Trot dressage test before 18/10/15. Entries in class 1a may not enter class 1b.
Class 1b: Restricted Novice Combination - Horse/Pony & Rider combination
never to have been placed 1st to 6th in any dressage test at prelim level or above
before 18/10/15. Entries in class 1b may not enter 1a. (If you wish to use this class
as a warmup you may enter HC if spaces are available.)
Class 2: Restricted Prelim - Horse/Pony & Rider combination never to have been
placed 1st to 6th in any dressage test at prelim level or above (with more than 10
entries) before 18/10/15.
Class 3: Veteran Horse/Pony - Horse/Pony to be 15 years or older as at 18/10/15.
Class 4: Mature Rider - Rider to be 35 or over as at 18/10/15.
Class 5 & 6: Open to all
Classes 5 & 6 are qualifiers for Cricklands Winter League Dressage Championships
2016.
Rosettes to 6th place in all classes.
Special rosette to highest placed VHPRC member in each class/section.
A points system will run throughout the series for Horse/Pony & Rider combinations. Points will be awarded for every class at each qualifying competition but not
at the Championships.
Eligibilty for classes - Xmas Special:
Class 1 to 4: Open to All - Prize for best ‘Sparkly/Fancy Dress’
Entries close: 12 noon Sunday prior to competition, or earlier if classes are full
(entries will be limited).
