• Heavy emphasis on customer-facing skills; in general greeting, helping guests to navigate the building and basic security

• Different tasks often required working well within smaller teams or even independently, such as running a cloakroom or minor bar service

• My reliability and tendency to take on extra responsibilities led to me becoming a leading role within the stewarding team

• Also some relevant office experience in occasional general office admin tasks

May 2013: Theatre Assistant, The Old Courtroom Productions, Brighton

• Selected through The Royal Pavilion stewarding team to work for a theatre company for a month, during the Brighton Fringe Festival

• Responsibilities included general security, flyering and responding to the needs of the performers

• Experience of working regular hours as well as working within a varying environment, requiring me to be forward thinking and to think on my feet

• Proficient in basic office tasks: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emailing

• Previous experience with a number of programming languages, including: C, Java,

HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, VB and Pascal

• Selected for captaincy after playing within the team for one season

• Involves running and organising the 11 and 7-a-side society football teams

• Regular player for a large Sunday League team, playing every match

• Awarded ‘Player of the Season’ after one season
